Do you ever hear voices in your mind? I’m not talking about multiple personalities or a mental disorder. I’m talking about little whispers. I think we all hear them more frequently than we would like to admit. We can hear, “You didn’t deserve that. That person is obnoxious. I am so mad.” On the flip side we hear, “I can’t believe I did that. I’m a loser. Failure, stupid. I’m never good enough.”
Who is the whisperer? The enemy! He is the accuser of the brethren. And he never shuts up! The Bible says, “For the Accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth - the one who accuses them before our God day and night.” Revelation 12:9-10 NLT. Satan is relentless. He spends his time accusing us, to ourselves, to others, and to God. And you know what we need to start doing? We need to stop listening. Fill your life with truth. Jesus said, “Sanctify them with truth. Your word is truth.” John 17:17. Let’s sanctify (make ourselves holy) with truth.
